Winfield-Mt. Union High School students tour UI Health Sciences Campus
Students from Winfield-Mt. Union High School toured the University of Iowa
Health Sciences Campus Oct. 9 in Iowa City.
The students, from instructor Wray Welschs Anatomy and Physiology class,
visited the UI Hyperbaric Chamber, UI Physician Assistant Program, UI Information
Commons, UI Medical Museum, UI Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine
and the UI Department of Pathology.
Student group tours of the health sciences campus allow visitors to view
laboratories and clinics, learn about scientific advances and see demonstrations
of cutting-edge medical technology used by UI faculty and staff. This semester,
nearly 20 student groups from across the Midwest will visit the UI Health
University of Iowa Health Care describes the partnership between the
UI Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine and UI Hospitals and Clinics
and the patient care, medical education and research programs and services
