Have House, Will Travel

Workers relocated Shambaugh House from its original home at 219 N. Clinton to the corner of Clinton and Fairchild streets Tuesday, Jan. 8. Shambaugh House, which has housed the UI Honors Program at 219 N. Clinton, is being relocated as part of the project to construct and provide access to the Jacqueline N. Blank Honors Center and the Pomerantz Center, at the corner of Market Street and the T. Anne Cleary Walkway. The University of Iowa International Writing Program (IWP), which has inhabited offices in the English/Philosophy Building, will move into Shambaugh House this spring.
