A University of Iowa Health Care physician recently won election as president of the International Perimetric Society (IPS).

Michael Wall, M.D., a neuro-ophthalmologist, holds joint appointments as a professor in the UI departments of neurology and ophthalmology and visual sciences. He attended medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, La. Wall served his residency in neurology at Washington University Affiliated Hospitals in St. Louis, Mo., and a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School in Boston.
