Scoliosis support group to meet
The Scoliosis Support Group will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10
at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
The group formed recently with the goal of providing opportunities for adolescents
diagnosed with scoliosis to meet and have fun with others who are sharing
similar experiences. Stuart Weinstein, M.D., a professor in the UI department
of orthopaedic surgery and one of the nation's leading specialists on scoliosis,
will be on hand to answer questions.
The Scoliosis Support Group will meet in the Atrium Dining Room on the seventh
level of the John Colloton Pavilion. For more information, contact Lori Dolan
