Logemann named director of pharmacy residency program
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Craig Logemann, Pharm.D., assistant professor (clinical)
in the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, has been named the director
of the college's Primary Care Pharmacy Residency Program.
The program focuses on the advanced training of pharmacy graduates. The
program is based in family medicine clinics across Iowa and has been around
for seven years. There are currently four clinics around the state that are
part of this program, located in Iowa City, Waterloo, Sioux City, and Des
As director, Logemann will coordinate administrative duties, such as recruiting
residents for the program, and giving evaluations of current residents. Logemann
is one of many UI faculty members who assist in this program.
Logemann, who joined the UI faculty in 1995, received his bachelor's degree
in pharmacy from the UI in 1988 and his doctorate of pharmacy from the University
of Minnesota in 1995.
