UI Family Care Center, North Liberty to hold menopause seminar May 22
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Area residents are invited to attend a free health education
seminar, "Managing Menopause," from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May
22 at UI Family Care Center, North Liberty.
The seminar will feature Leslie Riley, M.D., and Nancee Blum. Riley is board-certified
in internal medicine and specializes in providing health care to women, with
an emphasis on prevention and education. Blum is a social worker with UI Behavioral
Health and provides counseling services to women.
They will discuss the emotional and physical changes that occur during menopause
and various ways to cope with those changes.
UI Family Care Center, North Liberty is located at 3 Lions Drive, across
from the Quail Creek Golf Course and two miles north of the Coral Ridge Mall.
