Darulova joins Centerville Medical Clinic

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Martina Darulova, M.D., an American Board of Internal Medicine-certified physician, has joined the Centerville Medical Clinic to provide primary care and internal medicine services.

Darulova will join J.B. McConville, M.D., Larry Heikes, M.D., David Fraser, M.D., Suresh Pothuru, M.D. and physician assistant Dewey McConville. The clinic is an affiliate of University of Iowa Health Care.

"Dr. Darulova is a welcome addition to our health care team," said Fraser, a family practice physician with Centerville Medical Clinic. "It's great to have another internal medicine specialist on board who is committed to providing high-quality care to patients."

Darulova obtained her medical degree in 1996 and completed an internship and residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in internal medicine/primary care. She has many hobbies including learning new languages, and she is fluent in both French and Russian. Currently she is studying Spanish.

"I welcome the opportunity to live and work in Centerville," Darulova said, "and I look forward to serving the community. In addition to my primary care responsibilities, I can also provide care for people with chronic ailments, including heart disease, diabetes, digestive diseases, hormonal disorders, kidney diseases and allergies."
