Cardiology outreach clinic to open at Marengo Memorial Hospital
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Area residents will have access to a full complement
of heart disease diagnostic services beginning Oct. 12, when a cardiology
outreach clinic opens at Marengo Memorial Hospital.
Sponsored by Marengo Memorial Hospital and UI Heart Care, a component of
University of Iowa Health Care, the cardiology clinic will be staffed by Ricardo
Guerra, Jr., M.D., a board-certified physician in cardiovascular disease and
interventional cardiology. Guerra specializes in both noninvasive and invasive
cardiology and the medical management of cardiovascular diseases.
Guerra will staff the Marengo Memorial Hospital cardiology clinic the second
Thursday of each month in the afternoon. Marengo Memorial Hospital is located
at 300 W. May Street.

This outreach clinic is coordinated and made possible by the physicians
and staff of University of Iowa Clinical Outreach Services, which coordinates
specialty services in towns and cities throughout the state.
