UI Health Care to offer free cholesterol screenings at fair July 27
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa Health Care will offer free cholesterol
screenings from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at the Johnson County Fair.
The CHAMPS (Cardiovascular Health Assessment, Management and Prevention
Services) Program, in conjunction with UI Heart Care, is offering the 10-minute
screenings that will include a discussion of the results with a CHAMPS staff
member. Fasting is not required.
Appointments are not necessary. Screenings will be done on a drop-in basis.
UI Health Care's display will be in the Community Theatre Building on the
Johnson County Fairgrounds. For more information, call 384-7353.
