UI Health Fair Oct. 26 and Nov. 4 to celebrate health
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa faculty, staff and
students are invited to celebrate health and wellness by attending the UI
Health Fair. Like last year, the fair will be held on two separate dates and
locations. Free blood pressure and cholesterol testing, as well as health
risk assessments, will be available at both locations.
The health fair at UI Hospitals and Clinics on Tuesday,
Oct. 26 will take place in the Activities Therapy Gym (near elevator J) from
7:30 to 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. On Thursday, Nov.
4 the health fair will take place in the 2nd Floor Ballroom of
the Iowa Memorial Union from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The health fair provides the opportunity for UI faculty,
staff and students to learn about health and wellness, the university's health
care plans, UI Family Care providers, and a variety of other health-related
services on campus.
The health fair is co-sponsored by the UI Hospitals and
Clinics Staff Activities Program, UI Wellness, and University of Iowa Health
Care. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University
