IOWA CITY -- Archbishop Desmond Tutu will lecture at the University of Iowa at 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8 at Carver Hawkeye Arena. His lecture, "Human Rights and the Truth and Reconciliation Process," is a free public event; no tickets are required to enter the Arena for the lecture. Doors open to the public at 6:30 p.m.

Parking at the Arena is reserved only for persons with disabilities who have an official state disability parking permit. Disabled persons can park in Lot 46, near the Arena; security and parking personnel will direct attendees to the appropriate parking areas.

Public radio stations WSUI-AM 910, Iowa City, and WOI-AM 640 Ames, will broadcast the lecture live.
