Fall I-CASH meeting is Nov. 13
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Iowa's Center for Agricultural Safety and Health
(I-CASH) will hold its annual fall meeting Friday, Nov. 13 at the Scheman
Continuing Education Center at Iowa State University in Ames.
The meeting is a forum for individuals from private and state organizations
to exchange information on their programs, research and activities to citizens
and public employees with an interest or involvement in agricultural safety
and health issues.
Martin C. Jischke, Iowa State University president, is scheduled to
address the group. Private organizations and individuals, as well as ISU
Extension faculty and university-based researchers, will give presentations
on their agricultural health and safety efforts.
I-CASH, a partnership of the University of Iowa, Iowa State University,
the Iowa Department of Public Health and the Iowa Department of Agriculture
and Land Stewardship, is an organization dedicated to reducing illnesses
and injuries among Iowa's agricultural population.
The meeting is free and open to the public. The deadline for people
interested in making a presentation at the meeting is Oct. 23. For registration
