Participants sought for UI College of Medicine study
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Women who completed treatment for Stage II breast
cancer within the past two to six months are invited to participate in
a study designed to better understand the process of adjustment once breast
cancer treatment is finished.
The University of Iowa College of Medicine study aims to better understand
how women adapt to their daily lives after treatment and what stresses
and anxieties they may encounter during this time. Participants will be
required to attend four study sessions over the course of one month with
a telephone follow-up six and 12 months after. Blood and urine samples
will also be required. Sessions will be held at the UI Hospitals and Clinics
or at Cancer Care of Iowa City. Compensation is available.
