IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa president Mary Sue Coleman will be the featured guest on the next edition of "Women at Iowa," a new radio program designed to broaden awareness of issues and events significant to women at the University of Iowa and the larger community.

The program will air Saturday, Feb. 1 at 8 p.m. on WSUI (AM 910), or again on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 1:30 p.m. on WSUI and 5:30 p.m. on KSUI (91.7 FM). President Mary Sue Coleman will answer questions related to women's issues (such as recruitment/retention, salary equity, and family issues), policies that affect university women, and the role of women's groups at the UI.

The coalition includes members from Associated University Women (AUW), Council on the Status of Women, Rape Victim Advocacy Progam (RVAP), Women in Science and Engineering (WISE), Women's Resource and Action Center(WRAC), and radio station WSUI.
